I bought logo creator V4 a few years ago and love it! It makes graphic stuff simple for idiots like me. Can any help me with an unlock code? I crashed a computer and need to reload V4 into the new one. I bought the CD from Compusa a few years ago and don't have a code any longer. There are a couple numbers burned on the CD but none seem to be the proper code. :image25:

Sorry no one else can help you, laughingbird is the company, non of the admin or mods are employees. Any information you can give laughingbird about your order will help. Things like was your purchase the retail version released under Summitsoft. Look and see if you see 8 numbers on the CD...that should be the key.
That is the way it has been with purchases made through Broderbund and LB BUT I am not sure if the Summitsoft retail version also included the key code.
thanks so far thanks for all your help so far. Marc had helped me about a year ago when I had the same problem. (I knew I should have written it down back then) I have V4 bought from Compusa a few years ago. The CD does have an 8 digit code burned into it but its so small and slightly scarred that I cant make out all the numbers.
It might help if you put what digits are burned on the CD in your PM. Does the CD have the name Summitsoft on it?
Nothing on it from summitsoft Im pretty sure of the last 4 numbers. The problem is the first set. I don't know if Im dealing with the number 1, a lower case l, or an upper case I. Since the first set has two of those mystery number/letters, Im just trying different combos right now.
Seems to me laughingbird alway uses all uppercase letters. Have you checked your PM messages for and old PM from laughingbird?

kind of stumped. Maybe the code on the cd no longer works because it was activated back when I bought it at Compusa. Sent 2 PMs to Laughingbird over the past few days but no response. Kind of confused because hes posting to the forums.??
I know it's difficult sometimes, Marc plays a balancing act on time when it comes to supporting some things on the board and the massive amount of pm's that he recieves.
