Taking too long to change Font Type while editing Logo

    Why is it that changing the text font on the logo change font option when working on a logo takes a lot of time to change the font type?

    ttesting indicates about 10-15secs to change font and refresh/display the change. Am on W2K, PIII 600MHz, with 1GB RAM

    Hi Plee,

    To minimize render time while searching for the right font, it is helpful to turn off outline, drop shadow, and blur. Color, gradient, and opacity do not affect render time.

    Yes, a font preview would certainly be helpful. Thanks.

    Thanks, too Michael - perhaps time to upgrade the machine...but some people may not be able to upgrade, so a s/w solution might be the better option.
