1. I took the "Awesomco" People template, and deleted everything, but the guy with the raised fists. 2. I went to the imagecolor / colorize selection. I changed his opacity to 1, which results in creating a layer mask. Using this method you can create a silhouette of any image (particularly the people) found in any logo element set. 3. I exported that image and saved it as a png. 4. I opened the saved image in photoshop elements. 5. I selected the image, using the magic wand tool. 6. I erased the image using the background eraser, leaving a perfect cutout of the original man. 7. I selected a picture of a beach, and dropped it into the layer behind the man outline.
@khairole, Try GIMP, or Paint.net, I am no graphic artist, but I can recommend both programs. Both free, but powerful alternatives to Photoshop. Terry
