newb simple question: how do you update text???

    I select the text to update in the template, I modify the text and my modified text appears in the upper text box but not in the template I'm working with. How do i get the updated text to appear in the logo??? it must be something simple but i haven't figured it out. help!!!

    Click on "return to text menu" and then "add text to canvas" under where it says "type text here".

    thanks KD-did. We must have different versions, I don't have either of those things. But what I finally discovered is, after you enter the new text, you need to click on the 'Edit Text' button again and then back on the updated text and it pops into the logo.

    appreciate your help tho.

    Hi Jayne.
    When you type in your text, you can Edit the text by clicking on it -- then hit the
    "Attributes > "Edit text" buttons.

    Watch the quick Getting Started video when you first launch the software and you'll get the hang of it
