There is an easy and fun way to turn almost any item into a custom mascot or custom character by using free dingbats and TLC. Some recommended dingbats are: Faceoff http://www.searchfreefonts.com/free/face-off.htm Facetype Identakit Apparel Identakit Eyes Identakit Face bits Identakit Hair Monster Assembly
The possibilities are end less. One can can customize them even more with a free paint program or image editing program. I hope to get the dingbats zipped and attach to this thread shortly.
OK I made an avatar with your fonts above KD. I can see some more avatars being made for my avatar site. Thanks for the tip. Sample of what I did is included.
Talk about good timing for you Chris...I am glad you could put it to good use. You can also use the dingbat FaceIt which is essentially the same dingbat but the expressions are surrounded by a circle and in some cases a few more details.
Because TLC makes it so easy to layer, size and place "elements" that imported clipart (or other dingbats) can be used to add to the entire process of creating a custom mascot or character . Just simple as adding face, maybe arms and some legs or just adding a face to hat you have a custom character or mascot. I recently used this technique for a logo request for a logo and mascot. I think you will find the attached dingbat "Build your own people" useful ...it has in its content some legs, arm and hands.
