Logo for security clothing company

Hi guys, awesome site you have going on here. I'd like to ask for some help.

I'm starting a business that sells security clothing, from fleeces, to bullet proof vests to handcuffs. It's called 'SafeGuard Clothing'.

I have 0 creativity, can you guys come up with any ideas for a brandbale logo?

welcome to the forum its always nice to see another brit,could you give us some more info on what you require ie,colour size,have you got any preferences on style!!!

Here's the design of my site, I'm not sure of any specifics on it to be honest, I'm so rubbish at this stuff. I guess something bold not too complicated and stands out? Color scheme is blues

go to the template folder for the web page and look for the graphics folder and find the look for the graphic it will be called header or icon,its the part that portrays the wording for you site and look at the size of the file

If I read correctly you want to knwo the size of the header?

If so then I do not know this, the website design I showed you is just a screenshot of the site, that's all I have at the minute as the site is still being built.

You have any ideas on what a good logo would be?

here is my attempt for your consideration

as per your request

Nice designs people both the shield and star design by awalck and the "bird graphic one" by lamo1graphic look strong, safe and dependable and work with the colorscheme and fontstyle.

Now the criticism; i'd loose or change the texture in the star (#1) and split the name in #2 so it's not in front of the shield (maybe center text and grafix horizontal)
Lamo i'd loose the background and definitely go with just the one bird graphic .... (what's up with the parrot?)
