Export as a .png and not as a Tpng and you will only see the image in the text. Tpng removes the top layer which is the mask and that is why you are seeing the results you are seeing.
:image28:Thank you KD : I guess I'll have import it as a tpng into the art program but without the text & put it back into TLC & then add the text with the image fill. I think it would be easier to export your text as a regular .png and use an image editor to remove the background and then import back onto the canvas. That way the text would have your inserted image and be clear of any background.
