1. New Software Notice alert!

The new Web Graphics Creator (version 4.0) will be out soon.

For now, version 3.0 is still active and works great on most Windows machines. It no longer runs on Macs using Lion or greater... (but the new version will fix this)

So hang in there! It's almost done!

I can't get the Flip Book to work at all - can't even preview - any ideas anybody - is there a tutorial anywhere? Really disappointed in this software.

    Hi Sandie,

What browser are you running? The software works, but it has had some tweaks needed here and there. Let me know the browser and I'll see if i can help.

    Same Problem

I have the same problem. I installed the software today and I cannot preview the flipbook either. I am running Explorer 7. However, I also work in flash and I don't understand why I can't simply run the .swf file without using the browser.

    Hi Honshinn,

For IE7, you need to have it (IE7) open in the background. For some reason the auto load feature has issues. So, simply open IE7 leave it running in the background and preview your flipbook. Should work. As for the flash question, i would assume since the assets are seperate from the flash file itself you can't call them in flash, without uploading the images to the library. Also, not everyone has flash to edit or view with. I believe if you dont upload the assets file, then everything comes out to the default or even blank.

Let me know if the IE7 fix works.

    Ryan.

    sandie,

what are your system specs? Do you have java updated and flash player updated? Is your security settings in IE7 set to medium, if so, try dropping it a level.

    It still doesn't work.

Sorry, Ryan, it still doesn't work. It will work when I use your default images, but once I have my own images, it displays pages that have a gray bar and the background.

I now have up to date flash player and java. Still doesn't work even when I have IE7 open in the background. Nothing happens at all when I say 'Preview' although all my graphics files are loaded.

I have Windows XP Professional. Not sure of exact RAM memory but large.

... IE7 security was set to Med High, I have changed to Med, I don't have the option to set lower than that.

    Hi Ryan
I'm not able to attach - the book images file is too large even when zipped - could that be the problem is there a limit on graphic size in the FlipBook?

    Hi Ryan
Tested it with just one small graphic and it still doesn't work so that can't be the problem.

    honshin,

Can you forward me your files your working with? Or are they too large as well.

Do you have IM? I've been able to help out better that way.

    Hi SandyB, Seskindell.

Take a look at this thread I've just posted.
    http://www.logodesignforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5057

    This may solve your troubles!
It has to do with your original images that you're trying to import into the Flip Book Creator. If your image name contains a space, you may get a blank output when trying to view your images.

Let me know if this helps!

The flipbook works fine in my IE7 browser, do you have the flash plugin loaded and enabled?

I just installed the latest flash player .. doesn't work at all .. the pages start to turn but lock 1/2 way through turning. Get a script error when trying to load a signle image into the publisher program.

Aaaagh sorry to hear that, I was hoping it was going to be a simple plugin load to get it working. I am no expert with flash so will leave it to more knowledgable folk to solve the problem.
