I am building a site for people to pick and discuss sports lines. I don't mind using simple text, which I already have, for the site name and tag line, but I would at least like a small logo next to the text. I think a simple check mark inside a box would do the trick. However, if you would like to take on a whole logo with the site name/slogan, feel free.

To see the site as is (early stages) http://pickaline.com

Also, if anyone has the ability to create a favico, feel free. Although I've found a site to do that if needed, so no biggie there.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have a particular budget you are offering to expend on this project?

    Thanks.

Since it's a start up site, I do not have a budget at this time, for the expansion. The small icon is the main thing I would like for now.

So I take it you have no money for the work?
Do you just need a quickie logo to start with?
    Email me with some info.

Correct, I have no money at this time, since it's a start up site. If you go to the site, I was able to create a favicon, which is similar to all that I need for the logo. The problem is, my graphics program is a cheap (free) program which I can't seem to figure out how to create a clear bg with (using gif). I'm basically just looking for a 60x60 check mark in a box to place next to the text version of the name for now. If you would like to take on more, you're welcome to, but that's really all I am needing at this time.

Well, in order to still see the gradient of the header bg behind the top of the check mark, I would imagine it would have to have a clear bg to begin with(?). If I use a colored bg, it will stick out like a sore thumb against the gradient bg of the header.

    I appreciate the help BTW.

Perfect! ...until I tried it out :(

I guess the box needs to be red as well? Or white?

    Check it out: http://pickaline.com/
