Hi just purchased The Business Card Creator, loaded ok but when i try to import a image it has 2 popup boxes appear one with:

    UPLOAD NEW IMAGE

    "OPERATION FALIURE"

you click the ok button and another box appears saying:

    AIRCONTROLLER-COPYFILE

    ERROR #2038

I have reinstalled the software twice now but still the same, I have insalled as administrator but no different.

Sorry but I can't help on this as I am running BCC on XP and do not get the error. Hopefully someone with Vista will be along soon to give advice.

geliebear, before re-installing BBC did you uninstall and delete the BCC folder under "program file"? Did you also get a FRESH download before attempting a re-installation?

For good measure if I were you I would download the latest Adobe Air.

Have you tried the cut and paste method to bring your image into BCC?

Did you install BBC as a standalone?

I have alerted the programmer Flashorama to look in on this thread.

It seems to be a problem with the Adobe Air, I got it working but then it wants to upgrade to version 1.1 when you let it upgrade it stops working.

    Hi

You are right Geliebear, the issue is related to AIR 1.1 but it is due to File writing permissions on Vista.

    Try this:
    1) Go to The BCC folder
    2) Right click "The Business Card Creator.exe"
    3) Click "Run as Administrator"
    4) Try importing you images now, I am hopeful it will work.

    Let me know either way.

    cheers
    :)

I have also gone in to the properties clicked on compatibility tab and checked the "run this program as an administrator" and it works fine now.

Thanks a lot Flashorama you have saved the day. :image28:
