Hi, I tried to input Japanese characters into LCv5 which I downloaded through FB. I wanted to test prior to purchase. It has been long time since I logged in here, but cannot see that problem solved. I use Japanese keyboard layout, but all letters on keyboard are alphabet. Are there any plans to make it possible to write in asian languages?
Hi Jsky, as far as I know the problem was never solved in v5. However the newly released v6 is a complete re-write and I see no reason it should not work with any language setting though I can't test this as I only use the English language settings
BOY OH BOY! I have a solution! Use the Japanese Kana character generator from here: http://www.mauvecloud.net/charsets/kanagenerator.html I typed my text in, and it automatically converted it to Hirigana or Katakana characters . I can edit all text attributes (Character spacing, size, outline, etc...). I just copied and pasted from the mauvecloud.net web site.
