I am sort of interested in this software.. Does anyone have any examples of work they have completed with the ANIMATED LOGO CREATOR? How much can you actually manipulate a picture.. do you always have to use a pre-designed template? I have used the regular LOGO CREATOR for a few years and really like it. thanks for any advice and/or opinions.
It is not necessary to start with a template. You can start with a blank canvas, you can import into ALC and the built in animations can be layered to give different effects. The Native FLA is within the program so it should be able to be manipulated but that would depend on your knowledge of "FLASH". http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260982990 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260983050 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260983121 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260983191 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260983400 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1258395332 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1258855744 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260984493 http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260984614
sounds good.. but now I am bit concerned.. apparently your links are to samples of logos created with the ANIMATED LOGO CREATOR.. and I can't see any of them. It says I need to upgrade my flash player.. I can see flash everywhere else with no problems.
Hmmm I have no one complain about that when I have provided links before...even to people with no flash viewers on their computer are you using Vista or Windows 7? Perhaps it the having to use admin mode thing.
just checked.. it's a problem with viewing anything at www.swfcabin.com I checked can't see any flash object hosted there.
ok.. i upgraded flash.. and was able to view your designs. Very nice. Is the little light glow.. floating around something pretty much the extent of what can be done?
You don't need ALC to see those files so I am at a loss to explain. Hopefully we will get some input from other Windows 7 users.
No there is more to the animations that that. In fact I have even been successful in downloading SWF with music and importing the files as regular imports into ALC and export them as SWF with additional ALC animation content . Downloaded from here....page 3 http://www.leconcombre.com/board/dl/us/downloadflas0us.html http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1260999683 The spaceship animation with sound actually came from swfcabin.com on this one http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1261005588
Is there a how-to manual for the Animated logo software? I am at my intellectual boundaries right out of the gate.
The manual is among 'program files' for ALC. It is a PDF file. If you unable to locate it send me a PM with your email address and I will send it to you. http://www.logodesignforum.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=5752
thanks for all the comments and help... Let me say.. I am right on the edge of purchasing. Mainly because the willingness of people to help with Laughingbird software.. has always been super! I just want to make sure this is something I would use before I plunk down my $$. I do wish Laughingbird offered a download 30 day trial version of software.
So do I, or may be a non-save version as I'd like to see what other animations there are and what I could do.
I have suggested to Marc to make the ALC manual available here in the forum for downloading so that a somewhat informed decision can be made while he is building the web pages for ALC . To make a trial download would be nice, however, that requires installers to be created and a great deal of programming, testing correcting, finding solutions for any unknown bugs, upload times while still trying to take care of customer service for all Laughingbird products for both platforms (at the same time) is next to impossible.
