I installed The Logo Creator last year, but other than having a brief look at it and thinking it looked a bit difficult for an old fogie like me to learn, I haven't actually had any need to create a proper logo since then until yesterday.
After fiddling around for awhile last night, and again for a few hours today, I thought I would have a look and see if there were any upgrades as none of the imgages/examples in 4.0 - or combination with my own collections of images on my PC - really grabbed me for what I want.
This was a good move: I discovered V5.0 which I immediately bought (and then updated) and quickly came up with a few successful designs (at least to my taste) which I will now put to our client along with some of the better ones from V4.
Congratulations! The program is actually fairly easy to use - though different - once one gets sucked into it, and it IS fun, as you suggest.

Let me just tell you that version 5.0 is Super! All of the logo templates are incredible.
I had used a very early version of Logo Creator ( I think version 2 or 3) and this is such an big improvement.
The only question that I have which I could not figure out how to do is to add an additional line of text that was not part of the template. I can do that with the older version but have not figured out how to do that with the 5.0 version; any suggestions?

Granted I used one of your predesigned logos and changed the wording - but it was exactly what I had in my mind when I was looking for software to design it. It looks like a paid thousands for it. I was in a hurry to come up with a company logo (I am always in a hurry!) and checked a few sites where for around $300 I could have a logo designed for me. Then...I found your site, tested the demo and bought on the spot. This designer is so easy to use and I already have a great logo and plans for other uses of the software. I work with Ebay and am on my third (and last!) software...in this case I tried two cheap versions before going with a professional web based one. But...in the case of your software I am convinced that I found a 'cheap' one but it gives

Wow!! It's awesome and I am now a professional logo guy. I have done several projects including an eBook cover for David D'Arcangelo the author of the best selling book "Wealth Starts at Home" and "Cash Flow Marketing". I have also done a logo for several companies. I will drop them in for you to see!!
A suggestion??? If you could ad word art like curves, rotate, shapes to the text it would really complete the program. I really don't want to tell anyone how easy this is as they think I am a graphics god right now!!

I am a recent purchaser of Logo Creator software. I am the senior manager of a mid-size own a Consulting organization, and I was in search of a new image for my company. Obviously that starts with the logo. I was extremely tired of being gauged by the so called "Graphic Designer's", "Image Consultant's," Marketing Consultant's, etc. Although I did not know at the time, I felt that there had to be an opportunity on the net to create the new logo image I wanted for my company. Something wonderful happened on my computer today.
I am so pleased and I want to make sure the whole hardworking, creative team knew about it.
Laughingbird's logo making product line has been (next to MS Word), the most important tool on my computer for almost two years now. I've observed continuous improvements just keep flowing from you guys. And, its been wonderful creating with it - and, I have been fairly prolific...as a quick visit to my website will show. (And all those designs you'll see there - well, they never would have happened without TLC - because I could not have afforded to hire a graphic designer and that would have been necessary before Laughingbird and thier Logo Maker came along.
Back to what happened today. After doing the current download to my 3.0 I made the joyous (I MEAN JOYOUS!) discovery that all my fonts now appear in their form not just by font name! My family & I have been so impressed with your logo maker and your service that we HAD to write a testimonial.
First I think people should have a little background of what brings this letter. In 2002 I purchased TLC V2.6 and fell instantly in love with the program. So easy my 12 year old daughter became VERY proficent at it. It worked flawlessley. About a week ago we experienced a system crash. All programs were lost. Missing TLC I wrote an email to you asking for help redownloading it. Well as paitence is not a virtue I posses I wrote several more awaiting a response.
The response finally came with an explination for the delay. It also came with links to the upgraded version 3.0 and 4 additional expansion packs, and an appology! Well first of all version 3.0 ROCKS! It is everything anyone could want need or desire!

My abilities of creating either a web site or a logo were totally

This morning I got a call from MSNBC - they want to use part of a video we produced on today's Donahue show. We quickly got a master tape to the local NBC affiliate to transmit it via satellite. One source of MAJOR disappointment in the lack of numerals (0-9) and lower case characters in many of the included fonts. The logo we were working on was 1st City Mortgage, and were out of luck on many fonts. Other than that, GREAT!

Hi Marc, I have in fact purchased The Logo Creator. It's a little buggy at times, but overall I'm very pleased with it. I had a "friend" who's a Web Graphics guy that wanted to charge me $200 for a logo, business cards, etc... He sent me a prototype and I just had to laugh. Looks like he spent 5 minutes max on it. However, 5 minutes with the Logo Creator and its integrated templates would have given me something I could have been impressed with. I've created several prototype logos and have just about decided on a final logo design.
